Aduana Stars’ Fataho Nerie was the youngest player to feature in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The precocious talented earned his debut at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park on 11 October 2022 in a Matchday 1 game against Hearts of Oak.
Head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin introduced the talented midfielder around the 60th minute mark as he came off the bench to replace former Asante Kotoko midfielder Douglas Owusu Ansah.
Nerie, who turned 14 on 12 December 2022, made 8 appearances in total in the league.
In 2018, Aduana Stars’ Silas Obeng Kyeremeh became the youngest player to feature in the league when he was aged 13 years, 10 months and 22 days during a league game against Techiman XI Wonders on April 11, 2018.
