Afrobeats Festival Visits Berlin
The rhythmic pulse of Africa has beat in the middle of the city of Berlin, which witnessed a swamp of music lovers from the African diaspora and other inner cities within Germany to experience the flair of African culture through music, dance and energy. It was a fun-filled park with this edition as its maiden one, Berlin definitely felt the African engagement.
The Afrobeat festival with its line-up of decorated artistes thrilled fans to electrifying music and individual craftsmanship. The stage saw top acts in the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Gyakie, Tiwa Savage, Omah Lay, Ladipoe, Arya Star, Big Wiz, Fireboy Dml and a host of other Afro-fusion artistes.
It was loud cheers and chants from the crowd as DJ’s had their fun on the turntable, nonstop back-to-back sounds and fans keep calling for more. This festival a paean to Africa and more than an event, it’s a movement! Hence the train will make stop hopefully soon in Accra-Ghana, to share the Afrobeat experience.
