AG Trinity Temple dedicates ultra-modern church edifice as part of 16th anniversary

Trinity Temple of the Assemblies of God has unveiled and dedicated a classic and ultra-modern church edifice to mark its 16 years of existence.
The church, which is located at Tema, Community 10, features an 800-seat capacity state-of-the-art auditorium, a 300-seat capacity youth chapel, and a 200-seat capacity children’s chapel.

In his address, Head Pastor of the Trinity Temple, Rev. Dr. Sylvanus Amegashiti Elorm, said that sixteen years ago, the church embarked on a journey of faith and obedience to God’s calling in a community often considered a “no-go area” for church growth considering the hostility towards church operations in the area.

“We had a vision of being a church of believers who were committed to loving God and serving others. We had no idea what the future would hold, but we knew that we could trust God to lead us every step of the way.” He added.
The Trinity Temple has grown from a humble beginning of just 8 members to over 550 members – 350 adults and 200 children – with the support of three associate pastors in addition to the senior pastor.

In his congratulatory message, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana Rev. Dr. Stephen Wengam, appealed to all members of the church, old and new, to re-dedicate their lives to God.
He, however, admonished them to live in holiness to reflect the beauty of the church.

Rev. Dr. Wengam said, “I look forward to the days ahead when we shall hear of the great and mighty works of our God in this new auditorium; when we shall hear of more converts fellowshipping with this local assembly; when members of this church shall receive answers to their prayers because of their obedience to the Word of God.”

Acting Chief Justice Justice Victor Jones Mawulom Dotse and Chief Justice Nominee Justice Gertrude Torkornoo graced the occasion as special guests of honour.
Justice Dotse advised the church to have “a very rigorous maintenance culture” to ensure that the church facility stands the test of time.

President of the Frimpong-Manso Institute and former Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso, urged the congregation not to rest on their oars, but rather continue to offer your best to the building of the body of the Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ
