Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International elects Ghanaian as first African President

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International has made history by electing Francis Owusu as its first African President.

The announcement was made after a Directors’ Meeting held in Malaysia.

The Ghanaian businessman becomes the fourth international president of the fellowship, the first African to hold the position.

Prior to his election, Mr. Owusu held various positions within the fellowship, including the national president of the Ghana Chapter.

He has been a committed member of the organization, which has been in existence for over 60 years, and has helped to promote Christian values in the marketplace, communities, and the home.

He received a rousing welcome on his return to Ghana, Tuesday where he was met by the Ghana Chapter.

In a welcome ceremony organised by members of the fellowship in Ghana, Mr. Owusu expressed his gratitude to God for the honor bestowed upon him. He believes that God has a plan for Africa, and he is committed to working with other Christian leaders to promote the gospel and Christian values on the continent.

Mr. Owusu also called on Christians to practice the tenets of the Christian faith they profess. According to him, if 60 percent of Ghanaians who are Christians practice integrity in their business and daily activities, corruption will be curbed.

He believes that Christians have a responsibility to be ethical in all their dealings, and this will help to transform society.

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International is the world’s largest Christian businessmen’s organization. It has a network of thousands of members in over 85 nations through more than 4,000 local chapters.

The organization provides a forum for contact, sharing experiences, and exchange of ideas in fellowship. It also promotes Christian values in the marketplace, in communities, and in the home.

Membership of the fellowship includes Kings, Prime Ministers, Presidents and former Presidents Senators and Members of Parliament, generals and judges, business executives and captains of industry, scientists, teachers, doctors, lawyers, and other professionals, Salesmen and office workers, Factory workers and laborers, Retirees and young people just getting started.

As the first African president of the organisation, Mr Owusu has a responsibility to inspire other African leaders to work towards promoting Christian values and ethical practices in their countries.
