Ghana coach Otto Addo has dropped captain Andre Ayew from his starting XI but starts Athletic Club forward Inaki Williams in his XI to face Nicaragua.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been handed the nod ahead of Jojo Wollacott to start in between the sticks. The Orlando Pirates glovesman makes a return to the post for the Black Stars.
France-based duo of Alidu Seidu and Gideon Mensah are part of the defensive compartment.
Southampton center-back Salisu Mohammed partners Daniel Amartey in central defence. The 23-year-old put up a commanding substitute display in the Black Stars’ 3-0 loss to Brazil last Friday.
The midfielders are Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, Baba Iddrisu, Mohammed Kudus and, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku with Osman Bukari operating from the wings.
Inaki Williams leads the attack as he takes the place of Felix Afena-Gyan.
