Omah Lay hits 100 Million Streams on Boomplay

Talented Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, Omah Lay who gained prominence with his 2020 released record, “Bad Influence” is the latest addition to Boomplay’s Golden Club having garnered over 100 million streams on the platform.

The gifted singer who is well skilled in the Afrobeats and R&B genres has successfully put out Extended plays, “Get Layd” and “What Have We Done” which were both released in 2020.

With an impressive discography, Omah Lay has worked with acts like Adekunle Gold, DJ Tunez, Wizkid, Olamide, Ajebo Hustlers and Gyakie just to name a few.

Omah Lay’s first project amassed 3.6m, while his second EP, “What Have We Done” garnered 64 million streams and collectively, the singer currently sits with over 156 million streams.

Africa’s leading music streaming platform, Boomplay which supports artist by putting their song in the fore recognizes Omah Lay with his 100m plaque.

Omah Lay joins the league of Joeboy, Davido, Burna Boy and more who are already recipients of the 100m plaque.
