Citi Business Festival 2023 enters week two; focuses on building resilient SMEs
The Citi Business Festival 2023 will continue this week as it enters its second leg.
Conversations will center on Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs).
SMEs make up over 80% of Ghanaian businesses, thus this week’s on-air radio series and TV forum aim at deliberating on how to build successful and resilient SMEs even in difficult economic times.
Lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, UPSA, Dr. Andrews Ayiku will kickstart the conversation today, Monday, June 12, 2022, with Bernard Avle on the Citi Breakfast Show, highlighting how leadership can help businesses reset.
There will be a live virtual forum on resetting your MSME business after COVID-19 on Tuesday, June 13, 2022, on Citi TV.
The forum will see Taaka Awori, CEO of Busara- Africa, Dr. Andrews Ayiku, Lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, UPSA, Dr. Andrews Ayiku, UPSA, Audrey Abakah (Head of SME), Ruka Sanusi (Ghana Climate Innovation Centre proffering solutions on how businesses can stay strong in the face of current economic challenges.
The annual Citi Business Festival is a month-long initiative marked with on-air and outdoor events in the month of June to equip Ghanaian businesses with strategies to grow and scale up while meeting emerging trade and commerce trends.
This year, it is themed generally around the Made it Ghana Agenda.
Aside from the on-air series, there will be weekly forums on Citi TV every Tuesday to hold discussions on the theme for the week as well as special TV feature stories aimed at showcasing indigenous Ghanaian businesses.
Later from June 26-July 1, there will be a residential executive management booth camp to help business managers reach new markets and develop new revenue sources through innovation.
