Super Clash: Security at Accra Sports Stadium was perfect – Kwame Opare Addo [Asempa FM SportsNite]

Sulley Muntari’s expensive mobile phone was stolen by pickpockets after the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Fans and journalists were flogged by military personnel at the 40,000 capacity stadium.

Hearts of Oak’s Public Relations Officer Kwame Opare Addo has hailed security arrangements made for Sunday’s Ghana Premier League Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

Scores of accredited journalists were intimidated and harassed by security personnel while some fans were also flogged by the military according to a Ghanaweb report.

Despite all these glaring flaws in security arrangements, Opare Addo has insisted the arrangements were perfect.

“The security did a perfect job. That is why they were able to arrest the person who was dealing with the fake tickets,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite.
