Ethiopian club Adama City capture former Ghana U23 No.1 goalkeeper

Ethiopian Premier League side Adama City FC have signed 2019 Ghana U23 goalkeeper Kwame Baah on free transfer.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper will be teammates with midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway who has also signed for the club from Hearts of Oak.

Baah left Kotoko at the end of the 2021/22 league season after spending 3 seasons at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The former Heart of Lions and Inter Allies keeper has signed a professional contract with the top-flight side and will spend the 2022/23 season in the central Oromia Region of Ethiopia.

United Beverages, makers of the Ethiopian beer brand Anbessa Beer, is a sponsor of the club and in 2021 provided the club with new Jako branded Kits.

Baah was the first choice goalkeeper for Ghana during the 2019 U23 AFCON in Egypt.
