EXCLUSIVE: Belgian side Royal Antwerp ready to pay €350,000 for this Ghana Premier League left-back
Belgian top-flight side Royal Antwerp have reportedly expressed interest in signing a Ghana Premier League left-back, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
Broadcast journalist Kwabena Afriyie Obeng claims there is no offer from The Great Old for Asante Kotoko defender Imoro Ibrahim.
He told Bright Kankam Boadu a deal is in place for a left-back who plays for one of the clubs in the top 8 of the Ghana Premier League table.
The clubs in the top 8 places in the 2021/22 league table are Kotoko, Medeama, Bechem United, Karela United, Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics, Berekum Chelsea, and Legon Cities.
Taking the clubs into consideration, the most prominent left-back around is Hearts of Oak’s Dennis Korsah.
The 26-year-old joined Hearts of Oak during the minor transfer window from the second-tier side Ebusua Dwarfs.
He has come ahead to earn multiple Ghana call-ups and has even played twice for the Black Stars under Otto Addo.
