EXCLUSIVE: This Ghana international midfielder is heading to Turkey after terminating contract with Saudi club

Ghana international midfielder Afriyie Acquah is close to securing a return to Turkey, according to sources close to the midfielder.

Acquah, 29, mutually terminated his contract with Saudi club Al-Batin after just five months at the Hafar Al-Batin-based club.

According to a source close to the midfielder, he is likely to make a switch to the Turkish Super Lig club Antalyaspor.

Acquah has already had a spell in Turkey with Yeni Malatyaspor between 2019 and 2021.

Agent of the former Sampdoria midfielder has already received an offer from the Scorpions and is assessing the pros and cons of the deal.

Meanwhile, Ghana Sports Online checks have also revealed that the midfielder could head to the USA to play for an unknown Major League Soccer side.
