FICCP appoints Dr. Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei as Regional Representative for Ghana

Dr. Charles Asafo-Adjei has been appointed as the regional representative for the Fellow Institute of Construction Claim Practitioners (FICCP) for Ghana.

The ICCP has a core objective of ensuring value for money to clients, fairness by impartiality of consultants and fairness to contractors and delivering products and services at higher quality, lower cost, optimum quantity at highest efficiency.

As a regional representative, Dr. Charles Asafo-Adjei is expected to lead and direct affairs of the professional body and bring his management expertise to grow and create awareness on the Institute of Construction Claim Practitioners in Ghana through advocacy, engagement and coordination.

Dr. Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei is a seasoned and experienced engineer who has contributed immensely in providing rural infrastructure and other civil services for over 30 years.

He is currently the Deputy Director of Civil Works at Cocoa Board and fellow of Ghana Institution of Engineers. He also provides consultancy services to the International Labour Organisation, ILO, a United Nations Agency and Provost for Koforidua Technical Institute.

Dr. Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei has been a Regional Manager with Department of Feeder Roads, and Principal Engineer with Ministry of Roads and Highways.

Ing. Asafo-Adjei holds a PhD in Built Environment from prestigious Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and 2 masters degrees; Masters of Business Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and Masters of Science degree in Transport Planning and Engineering, Leeds University, United Kingdom.

He holds several other certificates and qualifications including a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
