Ghana Armwrestling Federation targets 15,000 high school students as season II of HD+ Kids Armwrestling competition gathers momentum

Charles Osei Asibey, President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation, has revealed that his outfit has targeted reaching out to 15,000 Junior and Senior High School students as season II of the HD+ Kids Armwrestling challenge gathers momentum.

The second edition of the innovative kids’ competition was launched in Accra on Monday afternoon at the GNAT Hall with top industry players in attendance.

Armwrestling has become the fastest-growing sport in the West African nation with the breeze of the sport blowing fast and reaching many in the country and beyond.

At the launch of the competition, the President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation, Osei Asibey revealed that his outfit has targeted reaching out to 15,000 students.

“We are going to introduce the sport to over 15,000 high school students – junior and senior high school combined. I believe it’s a massive move we have made as a federation and this is why I should thank all of you [media]. I should also be grateful to our partners SES HD PLUS Ghana Limited, Trillium Industries, ETV Ghana, and all those willing to come on board,” he said.
