Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council member Samuel Anim Addo smartly went off course on the question of lack of infrastructure at lower-tier side Okwahu United where he serves as Board Chairman of the club.
Anim Addo, bankroller of Sunyani-based Young Apostles, was appointed to serve as the Board Chairman of the iconic club in September 2021 as the Asaase Aban lads aim at a top-flight return.
Since his appointment into office, the club which is now playing third-tier football, has come close to securing promotion to the Division One League.
With off-the-field issues aside, Okwahu still has issues with infrastructure and facilities bedeviling the club, leaving the former Ghana Premier League campaigner lagging behind among its peers.
Reacting to questions about inadequate facilities and club assets, Anim Addo suggested that physical assets are not essentially a major problem for the club now.
He told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.
