BREAKING: Ghana FA names ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager as Technical Advisor for crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria

The Ghana FA has named former Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton manager Chris Hughton as a Technical Advisor for the Black Stars in the crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The 63-year-old will work closely with Borussia Dortmund Head of Talent Development Otto Addo who has been handed the duty of being the head coach.

Meanwhile, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and Aston Villa U23 head coach George Boateng will work as assistant coaches to Addo.

Hughton has been in Ghana on holiday over the past couple of weeks and has been strongly linked to the vacant Ghana job but per Ghana Sports Online’s strong links at the GFA, the ex-Republic of Ireland international will serve in a Technical Advisor capacity.
