Wurld – Sweet N Fine ft. Sarz

‘Sweet N Fine’ is the seventh song housed under Wurld’s fifth studio project ‘My WorlD With U’ and it features his frequent collaborator Sarz.

Nigerian eclectic singer-songwriter, WurlD invites listeners to his realm on his fifth studio project. He tells Apple Music, “I’m sharing a lot; it’s not the ordinary discussions.” “Behind the scenes, I’ve revealed a lot more of myself. I’m drawing attention to our weaknesses and my flaws. “I’m telling it like it is.”

While the Lagos-born musician, songwriter, and producer spent his secondary school years in the United States before returning to Nigeria in 2018, he chose to remain in his country as the epidemic raged in 2020, a period during which he was at his most reflective. “Above all else, this was a time to rely on oneself,” says WurlD (Sadiq Onifade). “Because we weren’t near anybody, we all had to look after ourselves.” And for me, that influenced a lot of my decisions.

With that reflection, he was able to weave a story about vulnerability, patience, self-awareness, and communication, all while including the hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats threads he honed throughout his years in Atlanta and Lagos.

Instead of merely making popular tunes, it helped me construct a lot more depth in this album.”

“A lot of people notice the blue hair, the attractive appearance, and the delicious sound… “I want to show you everything,” he admits. “However, I’m not simply that. Like everyone else, I’m still a work in progress. And it’s My WorlD With U because I’m just as flawed as you are, as well as just as great. “Like everyone else, I’m still a work in progress.”

Speaking extensively on Sweet N Fine’, he said;

“‘Sweet and Fine’ is my first step out of the relationship. I’m back out, trying to try to date, trying to be a better man; meeting someone new. And I’m really trying to bring her into my corner. I’m really just trying to be a better person, in that I’m being patient. I’m trying to be sweet. And I’m trying to figure it out. This is something new; I’m back out now with something new.”
