Bibiani Gold Stars striker Ibrahim Laar has targeted scoring 18 goals in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Laar, 25, opened his goal account for the season after netting a brace against bottom-placed King Faisal on Matchday 5 at the Dun’s Park.
The former Danbort FC forward scored 10 times in 25 games last season for relegated Techiman Eleven Wonders and he believes he can even improve his numbers this season.
“My target is to score between 15 and 18 goals this season. Yes, I had to wait till matchday 5 to start scoring but I will work towards achieving this,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show on Monday.
Laar also revealed that he harbours a dream to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the near future.
