The data suggests that the party base staunchly stands behind their leader even in times of adversity, demonstrating an unwavering confidence in his leadership.

This is regardless of recent public criticism of government policy by breakaway candidate and former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyerematen and immediate past Agriculture Minister and NPP Presidential hopeful Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto.

What is not clear is whether this public show of support will translate into votes for the establishment candidate, Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia.
