Nigerian Rapper Laycon Condemns Nigerian Government Over Ongoing ASUU Strike.

Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, better known as Laycon has stated his displeasure with the Nigerian government’s stance toward education.

The fact that most Nigerian students are currently at home because of the ASUU strike, which has been ongoing since February, is no longer news.

According to reports, the Academic Staff Union of Universities is demanding that the federal government release reports on visitation panels to federal universities, fix salary payment challenges, provide funds to revitalize public universities, provide an academic allowance, and fund state universities, or they will go on strike.

Laycon reacted to the incident by slamming the Nigerian government on his Twitter page on Monday, April 25, 2022, accusing them of being solely focused on the impending elections. He expressed himself as follows:

I’m scared ooo, I’m really scared. What kind of government is this !!! Universities are closed, they have been closed for months and this mandem are focused on elections alone
