I had to surgically remove one fallopian tube before getting pregnant – Nana Ama Mcbrown

Ace TV personality, Nana Ama Mcbrown, has shared her sad story about how she had to surgically remove her fallopian tube before being able to get pregnant.

In an interview on a TV show, ‘We Got This Africa’ hosted by Naa Ashokor,  Nana Ama Mcbrown recounted on how she developed fibroid which made it difficult for her to conceive.

The award-winning screen goddess disclosed that prior to the surgery she underwent IVF, or in vitro fertilization procedure to get pregnant, before performing a surgery to remove one of her damaged fallopian tubes.

An emotional, Mcbrown said she thought it was important to open up and share her story to motivate other women in similar situations.

She noted that this is the first time she is making this revelation on live television.

“I am saying for the first time, my tubes, one of them was damaged and they had to take it off. I shouldn’t have said this but Naa, a lot of women are going through this. Mine, I have gotten a result, I have gotten Maxine and what I wanted,” she said.

Nana Ama McBrown said her revelation should serve as a motivation to other women going through the same predicament.
