The mother of rapper, Yaw Tog has revealed that she knew her son will be a star when he grows up.
According to Joyce Mensah, she got a prophecy ten years ago that Yaw Tog was going to be a popular person but did not know music was going to be his breakthrough.
Speaking on E-Vibes with Becky, the mother of three disclosed that Yaw loved football growing up to the extent that she had to hide his boots to stop him from playing at some point.
“He used to play football and was even a champion. But I’ve never liked the neighbourhood where he used to play. I was terrified because I had heard that raising a boy child as a woman is difficult. Occasionally, I would hide his football boots. It came to a point where I had to take his ball away from him,” she narrated.
Joyce Mensah also revealed that her son is very humble and one who used to sing during his Sunday school days.
“During Sunday school services, he sings at times. He’s calm and submissive since he understands where we’re from. He’s been humble since he was a child.”
