I’m a Kotoko supporter – Hearts of Oak legend confesses [Dan Kwaku Yeboah]

Legendary Hearts of Oak player Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has finally confessed that he is a Kotoko supporter.

The 46-year-old left Ebusua Dwarfs to join the Phobians in 1998 and went ahead to spend 8 seasons at the capital club, winning the 3 continental titles namely; the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and the CAF Super Cup.

He also won 6 league titles with the Rainbow club.

It has always been rumoured that Kuffour’s heart was with Hearts’ bitterest rivals Kotoko even when he was playing for the Accra-based club.

He has finally confirmed the rumours and reveals he wanted to join Kotoko when he was leaving Dwarfs.

“Yes. I’m a Kotoko supporter. I always wanted to move to Kotoko. So I moved to Kotoko from Dwarfs however, managerial instability at Kotoko ruined the move. I remember I stayed in Kumasi for three weeks but nobody was talking to me. I eventually returned to Cape Coast and it was from there that Hearts of Oak came into the picture. Anytime I played against Kotoko, I proved to them that I was the best,” he told Dan Kwaku Yeboah TV on YouTube.

“I’m still a Kotoko fan and I follow them from here,” he added.
