Pairing his arresting vocals with a breezy approach to songwriting, the artist born Udomboso John Saviours conjures catchy lines whilst blending homegrown melodies with infectious rhythms. Leading with the saxophone-enveloped “32”, the EP bursts into life with the Afrohouse-infusing “Dada” which precedes the smooth jazziness of “Just Friends”. An absorbing serenade occurs atop the log drums of “Next To You”—a standout moment matched by the energizing rattles of the percussive “Normally”.
