Celebrated broadcast journalist Bright Kankam Boadu has claimed that Joseph Paintsil’s agent has a ‘serious beef’ with a member of the Black Stars technical team.
Paintsil, 24, has been hogging the headlines in the West African nation after news filtered into the public sphere about a phone call from head coach Otto Addo informing the attacker of his decision not to include him in his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Experienced broadcaster Kankam Boadu revealed on Pure FM on Tuesday morning that Paintsil’s agent has serious beef with a member of the Black Stars technical team.
“I understand that Joseph Paintsil’s agent has serious beef with a member of the Black Stars technical team,” he said.
According to Transfermarkt.com, Paintsil is under British-based ICM Stellar Sports which represents players Jeremie Doku, Ben Chilwell, Kalvin Phillips, Eduardo Camavinga, Jack Grealish, and several others.
The ex-Tema Youth player’s superlative form with Genk in the Belgian league has formed the cornerstone of the discussions over his exclusion.
Tema Youth President Winfried Osei Kwaku, popularly known as Palmer, has also claimed that Paintsil has been dropped from the squad due to his affiliation with the player.
