A Medeama SC spokesperson, popularly known as Obama, has hinted that Evans Adotey will not lead the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title winners to the CAF Champions League next season.
Adotey, 58, guided the Tarkwa-based side to their first-ever Ghanaian league title after overtaking Aduana Stars to clinch the trophy.
Medeama will participate in the competition as Ghana’s sole representatives in the continental top-tier club competition with Adotey promising a competitive campaign for the two-time MTN FA Cup winners (2013 and 2015).
It has been established that Adotey, who is a former Manchester United Academy trainee, does not possess the requisite coaching certification to lead the club in their campaign next season.
Meanwhile, Obama has given a clue that the club will appoint a new coach along with other African players.
Below is a video of what he is said on Pure FM in Kumasi.
