Ghana Premier League: Legon Cities 1-1 Bechem Utd – Jonah Attuquaye scores classy finish in Royals home draw in Accra
Legon Cities FC are still winless in four games in the Ghana Premier League following their latest draw with Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday night.
2021 Ghana Olympic Team attacker Jonah Attuquaye scored a fabulous finish from 23 yards in the 9th minute but 26-year-old defender Emmanuel Annor pulled even for Bechem on the hour mark.
The results leaves Bashir Hayford’s Royals still without a win in four (4) and still mathematically unsafe from relegation with two matchdays left to wind down the season.
They could drop 14th if results in other games don’t go in their favour on Sunday.
The draw becomes the 6th points Bechem have collected this season on the road but that does not immune them from the dangers of dropping into the second-tier.
