The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications , Dr. Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey who made these comments at the 21st knowledge forum under theme: Empowering Consumers through Clean Energy Transitions said the Chamber is committed to reducing the impact that telecommunications operations have on climate change and the environment.

“We recognize that promoting clean energy transitions is a multi-stakeholder effort that requires collaboration between the industry, policymakers, and regulators. Therefore, we hope that this forum will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share their experiences, insights, and concerns, and chart a way forward that promotes clean energy transitions while enabling the growth of our industry,” he said.

“All of us are consumers and we are not passive bystanders, we have to be included in the clean energy transitions. We have our roles to play. We all wield power as marketplace actors.
