Nigeria’s Moses Simon warns Ghana ahead of second leg: “You’ll take it”

Nigeria winger, Moses Simon is optimistic the Super Eagles will beat Ghana’s Black Stars in the second leg of the ongoing World Cup qualifiers in Abuja.

Augustine Eguavon’s men were held to a zero-all stalemate in Kumasi last week Friday, leaving the contest even for the two West Africa neighbours.

But, Simon, who had the only clear chance in the first leg in Kumasi believes a draw was a good result, saying ‘Ghana will take it.’

“…you’ll see the quality [of the Super Eagles] in tomorrow’s game. Of course, you’ll see my form, but it is all about the team,” Simon said during a prematch press conference.

“The boys are working hard and we will give everything. Of course, we all know it can be difficult. We know how Ghana play, so we decided to sit back [for a draw], a draw was enough for us, because we all know when they come here [to Abuja], they are going to take it,” he stated.

The Super Eagles are seeking a ticket to the World Cup for the sixth time in their history.
