BOJ ft. Wizkid & Darkovibes – Awolowo (Remix)

Prior to the release of ‘Gbagada Express,’ Boj gave his fans and music enthusiasts a sneak peek of his impending star-studded studio project with the remix of Awolowo.

The long-awaited remix of his monster track “Awolowo,” features Grammy-winning musician Wizkid and Ghana Afrobeat/Afropop singerDarkovibes. With lines like “If I f#ck you, love, if I kiss you, nobody go know,” Wizkid and Darkovibes pour new life into the incredibly melodious record.

Gbagada Express is 16 track-listing project featuring some big names in the Afrobeat eco-system like; Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Buju, Fireboy DML, Victony, Zamir, Obongjayar, Prettyboy D-O, Fresh L, Joey B, Kofi Jamar, Amaarae, Enny, Melissa, Shaybo, Moliy, Darkovibes and Wizkid.

Terri – Chargie ft. Mugeez

Talented Nigerian singer-songwriter, Terri has released his first extended play as an independent artiste dubbed ‘In Transit’. Off the studio project comes ‘Chargie’, a beautifully weaved sonical tune featuring versatile Ghanaian singer-songwriter Mugeez of R2Bees Music Group.

Long before his idol Wizkid signed him onto the roster of Starboy Music as Terri, Akewe Terry Daniel was making music as a teenager in the low-income Lagos neighbourhood he grew up in.

Since trading the underground music scene for the mainstream, Terri has barely looked back. With Wizkid’s anointing, he jumped on 2018’s “Soco”, one of the biggest anthems in and out of Africa that year. On the thumping monster hit “Ojoro”, lead track of 2020’s Afro-Series EP that was delayed by the pandemic, Terri ropes in themes of love as intoxication and for elevation.

That hitmaking recipe returns on In Transit, his second EP, and first as an independent artist. Buoyed by a Grammy nomination for his work on Wizkid’s Made in Lagos, he glides seamlessly across the tape with the intransigence of one who knows he is a superstar in transit.

That energy is present on “Holy Water”, where the woman of his dreams supersedes icons of both his faith and his industry; and it’s consolidated on “No Lie”, where he proclaims an unwillingness to share a love as deep as an ocean.

BNXN (Buju) ft. Zinoleesky – Kilometre (Remix)

Coming hard on the heels of not very long ago released soothing single ‘For Days’, Nigerian singer-songwriter, BNXN formerly known as Buju returns with a perfect remix of his popular song ‘Kilometer.’

For the remix, BNXN teams up with Marlian Music camp’s Zinoleesky. Fans couldn’t disguise their enthusiasm on social media as BNXN teased the Zinoleesky-assisted record for quite some time, and the anticipation was at an all-time high.

‘Kilometer Remix,’ produced by award-winning beatsmith Rexxie, is BNXN’s second official single of the year and follows up on his previously released hit ‘For Days.’ The video has been shot and will be released at any time soon.
