Black Sherif Gives Details On How He Collaborated With Burna Boy

Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kweku Frimpong, also known as Black Sherif explained in a recent interview how he met Grammy award-winning Burna Boy for their collaboration on the remix of ‘Second Sermon.’

Black Sherif disclosed popular Nigerian dancer Poco Lee may have been the one who played the singer’s song to Burna Boy, who subsequently reached out to him through his management to consider a collaboration.

Black Sherif said:

I don’t know who played the song for Burna but I think Poco played my song for Burna. Burna loved the sound.

Someone from Burna’s team then reached out to me.

We talked for like 20 minutes.
