The rainfall, which began between 14:00 – 15:00 hours on Friday, September 22, is intense, and accompanied by thunderclaps.
As the rainfall continues, some motorists have taken to social media to share the extent of the flooding caused by the downpour to give a heads-up to other drivers and pedestrians who are yet to venture out.
The Spintex Road has also been cited as one of the flooded areas.
Please be careful on the Spintex road. There are some flooded parts, especially for smaller and lower cars.

In videos circulating on the micro-blogging site, a man is seen standing atop his vehicle as it is almost submerged in the floodwaters.
This is heartbreaking!
