Adekunle Gold ft. Rick Ross – 5 Star (Remix)

With the success of the song 5 Star and High, Nigerian singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold has expanded into new areas. His appeal on a global scale has grown ever since he gained recognition. In order to make even more progress in his new field, he maintains the trajectory with a huge record.

Rick Ross joins Adekunle Gold on the remix of his incredibly outstanding song “5 Star.” Like the previous version, talented beatmaker Kel P is given the production credit.

Major Lazer, Major League Djz, Tiwa Savage & DJ Maphorisa – Koo Koo Fun

For this new song titled “Koo Koo Fun,” American electronic music group, Major Lazer, South African producers, DJ Maphorisa, Major League DJz, and Nigerian singer-songwriter Tiwa Savage join forces.

The Amapiano-inspired tune has the African Bad Girl flaunting off, and the lyrics are catchy and simple to sing along to.

The song’s crisp production was done by Major League DJZ, Major Leazer, and DJ Maphorisa so it’s no surprise that it upholds standards.

Sarkodie ft. King Promise – Labadi

The flawless partnership between King Promise and Sarkodie is back. The duo has collaborated on classic tracks over the years and hasn’t yet released a subpar one.

Collaboration between Sarkodie and King Promise is comparable to that of a world-class football team with players who are aware of one another’s position unperturbed. Due to the reputation this partnership has, people actually do watch for it when the opportunity arises.

Sarkodie’s annual Rapperholic event is approaching in December, which is also just around the corner. Every year, Sarkodie releases a project before the event to create anticipation for his headlining performance.

An album titled “The Jamz” record will serve as the culmination of this year’s event. In order to generate interest in the event, several teasers have already been released.

The newest single from Sarkodie, “Labadi,” will be one of the tracks on the album. Ghanaian songwriter and vocalist King Promise is featured in the amapiano-inspired, rap-heavy song.

Recent collaborations between Sarkodie and K.O., Sefa, and Masterkraft demonstrate his command of the Amapiano genre. With the lead track from the JAMZ album, he continues to explore his affinity for the genre. King Promise, on the other hand, sings a wonderful hook with a melancholy, calming tone that properly connects with the listeners.

Black Sherif – Soja

Following a social media announcement of his new single, Black Sherif finally premieres the eagerly anticipated song.

The gifted Ghanaian rapper and singer maintain his strong form this year with the release of “Soja,” his second official single.

Soja follows the smash hit “Kwaku The Traveler,” which provided the impetus for bigger accomplishments Black Sherif has accomplished this year thus far. The song will appear on his upcoming debut album, “The Villain I Never Was,” which will include 14 tracks and be released on October 6, 2022.

Lastly, Black Sherif has been nominated for the Best International Flow award at the upcoming BET Hip-hop Awards just a week ago, making him the second Ghanaian rapper ever to receive the distinction after Sarkodie.

Adomaa – In the Clouds

In what is her first release for a few years, Adomaa reminisces on her start in music, from the headiness of sudden popularity following the virality of her Baafira-Adonai mashup in 2015, to the anxiety that sudden attention invariably brought.
This is the first single from her upcoming EP ‘Becoming Adomaa,’ out November 9th and released with East African indie label Nyege Nyege.

KiDi – Habibi

Serving as the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut Sugar, 2021’s The Golden Boy arrived as a statement of intent from Accra-born star KiDi, who undeniably sealed his position as one of the most critical voices of his generation. All these high watermarks have ensured that the anticipation for the hiplife icon’s next release is frenzied, but rather than meet these stratospheric expectations with pop bombast, KiDi withdraws inward to gently introspect on love and romance on 2022’s 4Play.

Employing the same textured highlife rhythms and mellow R&B vibes that characterized his debut, KiDi’s 4Play is a conceptual reflection on love, bolstered by fastidious songwriting that recounts the highs and lows of a romance. Four love notes form the anchor of the world that KiDi builds here, but the music continues to be arresting:

“Habibi” is an ode to trans-generational romance, and “Champagne” is a summon to the dance floor; yet “Zombie” pairs the singer’s quest for romantic yearning and emotional vulnerability for an unmissable highlight.

Ckay ft. Ayra Starr – Come Close

CKay’s ascension from a fast-rising amateur beatmaker to one of the top musicians of his generation has been nothing short of astounding in recent years. One cannot ignore CKay’s contribution to spreading the genre throughout the diaspora given that he is the composer of the biggest Afrobeats hit of the millenium (Love Nwantiti).

CKay indicates he isn’t done yet after obtaining numerous certificates in key countries around the world, including the US and France. As he performs his debut studio album, Sad Romance, he longs for something much greater.

His previously released singles Mmadu, You, Watawi, Emiliana, and Love Nwantiti are all included on the Sad Romance LP. On the project, Davido, Focalistic, Ayra Starr, Abidoza, Rosinia, and Mary Andrade all make cameo appearances.

Bella Shmurda ft. Omah Lay – Philo

Bella Shmurda’s latest release, Philo, is his fifth this year as he works to release his first album. It’s the follow-up to his self-acclaimed New Born Fela album.

Mr Eazi ft. DJ Tarico & Joey B – Patek

The pan-African banger marks Mr. Eazi’s entry into the recently-exploding South African dance music subgenre known as amapiano, which has gained international acclaim.

During a spur-of-the-moment recording session in South Africa with DJ Tárico, whose acapella smash “Yaba Baluku” swept the continent last year, Mr. Eazi cut an early version of the song.

After a brief preview of the song was uploaded to TikTok and received millions of views and thousands of user-generated videos, Ghanaian rapper Joey B was enlisted by Eazi to assist him finish the song and cement its status as a banger.

The Therapist ft. Mayorkun – Nack (Remix)

After starting a challenge with the song on the app, the well-known Tiktok icon with a cute appearance gained popularity. The Therapist is prepared to introduce a remix in order to keep the hype surrounding the song.
