Simi ft. Fave – Loyal

Multifaceted Nigerian singer, Simi has released her long-awaited new album titled ‘Tbh,’ an acronym that literally translates to ‘To Be Honest.’

Housed under the album is ‘Loyal,’ the fourth track and it features talented Nigerian singer-songwriter FAVE.

She went on to explain more about the song’s concept:

Loyal’ is inspired by an experience that I had. I don’t have a lot of close friends, but my friends are really important to me, and I expect that for you to be in my circle, I can trust you. I had a situation with one of my friends where I felt pretty betrayed and let down, and I felt like it would be nice to put them in their place. I’m just talking about how I want to know if you’re loyal to me. I don’t settle for backhanded friendships. I loved Fave’s verse as well. It’s really calm, but it’s also so intense, and I really love how we just flow together on the beat.”

Shatta Wale – Sorry

King Of African Dancehall Shatta Wale returns to his consequential fashion of releasing music. Coming hard on the heels of his previous release titled ‘1957‘, the controversial Ghanaian musician follows up with this exciting new song titled ‘Sorry‘.

Moelogo ft. Chinko Ekun – Soft Life

Talented Nigerian music artiste, Moelogo sings about a life free of problems in his latest track titled ‘Soft Life’. The singer took a short breather after successfully releasing his three-part EP series dubbed ‘ItheEP.’

Niniola – Want

Queen of Afrohouse music, Niniola makes her first appearance in 2022 with a brand new solo effort.

Titled ‘Want,’ Niniola employs her signature Afro-fusion sound patched with steamy vocals in her latest single.

This is a follow-up to her previous output ‘Lagos to Jozi’, a four-track-list EP featuring Oskido, Lady DU, and Guiltybeatz.

Dice Ailes – Monica

Nigerian singer-songwriter Dice Ailes has dropped a new studio project dubbed ‘Ladies First,’ a six-track diversion on the path to the release of his debut LP, Waterman, and was written in and around confinement. “I felt that the greatest title for that project, before the album, would be ‘Girls First,’ when I chose to touch up on some of these events with some of these ladies in my life,” Dice adds. “So it’s a bit of a play on words.” It’s not quite ‘women first,’ as a gentleman would put it—more it’s like ‘Ladies First,’ but before the Waterman album.”

The song ‘Monica’ is the third track housed under the EP that talks about love. He described this particular song as a 2-in-1 track incorporating diverse sounds and different expressions.

Darkoo ft. Mayorkun – There She Go (Jack Sparrow)

Earlier this week, Darkoo, a Nigerian-born British rapper, took to social media to tease her collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeat singer Mayorkun on the song “There She Go.”

In a similar fashion as her previous releases, ‘There She Go’ had gone popular on social media platforms, with just a sample of the song becoming a viral trend on Tik Tok.

The full-length audio has officially been released to extinguish the vigorous await.

This would not be the first time the two outstanding artists collaborated on a song; they had previously collaborated on Camidoh’s remix of “Sugarcane” along with King Promise.

Arrdee ft. Black Sheriff – Come & Go (Remix)

With the purpose of reaching more listeners out of his jurisdiction for his very recent album Pier Pressure which houses Come And Go, Arrdee connects with Ghana’s man-of-the-moment Black Sheriff for a remix of the fan-favorite Come and Go.

Blaqbonez – Go Home

Controversial Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez of Chocolate City has called an end to his hiatus. On his return, Blaqbonez brought a gift for his fans: a brand new tune called Go Home.

On ‘Go Home,’ it’s clear that Blaqbonez isn’t interested in any of that nonsense; he needed to vent his frustrations, which you’ll probably understand a

fter the first listen.

‘Go Home’ is the rapper’s second official single of the year, following ‘Commander,’ which was released earlier this year.
