The Police have confirmed that there was a violent clash between the youth of Nima and Mamobi on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:00pm.
In a Twitter post to announce its swift response, the Service said it has strongly intervened and brought the situation under control.
The post added that the suspects are being pursued to face justice.

Earlier, videos emerging on Twitter show the youth in Nima and Mamobi fighting with cutlasses and guns.
In one of the videos, gunshots are heard while the youth were seen in other videos slashing each other with machetes.

Four persons are reported to have died from the clash. It is not officially known what led to the fight, but according to Twitter posts, the fight was over a shisha.
