Pressing home their demand for justice, the youth who hit the street were met by the military and the police.
Initially, the military started shooting into the sky but at some point when the protesters charged, they started shooting into the crowd.
This has left two people dead and four others injured. The situation has gotten Ghanaians across the country reacting to the happenings in Ejura.

So why are they shooting?
You don’t just go to a protest ground and start shooting human beings like they are animals.
This isn’t a war zone @NAkufoAddo . These are the people that voted you to power. You can’t intimidate us.#FixTheCountry #FixthecountryGhana #WeAreAllKaaka https://t.co/HjGAbqUVBp

Our security services need serious training. You just go to a place and start blazing guns.
Look at these 2 aim into the crowd in the name of warning shot.
There is no justification for what’s happening at Ejura now. #FixTheCountry #FixTheCountryNow #WeAreAllKaaka pic.twitter.com/oUmXAcujo0

This Ejura thing, the people started running away as soon as they spotted the Military. The Military should have relaxed, their presence alone scared them. No need firing into the Crowd #FixTheCountry
