Talented Nigerian singer-songwriter, Jaywillz releases his third studio project dubbed ‘Sunflower’
In 2021, Jaywillz released a mid-tempo anthem for lovers titled ‘Medicine’. The song which combines Igbo traditional music elements with contemporary sounds propelled Jaywillz to stardom. It was also the highlight track on Love or the Word, his follow-up to P.U.N., which was released in 2020. (Please Underrate Nobody).
In the same year, a catchy chorus and comparable systematic finessing on veteran Olamide’s “Jailer” worked wonders for his reputation. Jaywillz keeps to his winning ways on Sun Flower, resulting in a project that’s the perfect soundtrack for the heartbroken, with tracks ranging from delicate, sweet nothings (“Baby”) to more sensual, after-dark tones (“Spoils”).
