This Ghanaian attacker to face Real Madrid in 2022/23 La Liga opener on Sunday
Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Arvin Appiah could have a big shot at Real Madrid should Almeria manager Rubi select him for their 2022/23 season opener on Sunday night.
Madrid, current La Liga title-holders, will travel to the Power Horse Stadium to face the Rojiblancos as Carlo Ancelotti’s side fight to defend their crown.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Arvin Appiah would also have his own agenda going into the fixture as he would eye for a starting role in the Almeria side.
All the last 5 league fixtures between the two sides have gone in favour of Los Blancos with the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League winners scoring a staggering 24 goals and conceding just 2.
Despite being born in the Netherlands, Appiah has featured for England at the U17, U18, and U19 levels.
He scored once in 11 starts for Almeria in the Segunda Division last season.
