Ghanaian Influencer Mona4Real Pleads Gulity, Faces 5 Year Imprisonment

Ghanaian influencer Mona4Real, born Mona Faiz Montrage, has found herself entangled in legal troubles in the United States. According to reports from Innercitypress, a reputable US-based court and investigative journalism website, Mona4Real has confessed to participating in romantic scams, revealing a shocking development in her otherwise glamorous public image.

The influencer is now confronted with the possibility of a prison sentence of up to five years, as well as a substantial financial burden. As part of the legal resolution, Mona4Real has reportedly agreed to pay approximately $2.1 million in forfeiture and restitution.

Mona4Real’s legal journey began with her arrest in the United Kingdom in November 2022, followed by her extradition to the United States in May 2023. The case was brought before U.S. District Judge Paul A. Crotty, marking a pivotal moment in the legal saga surrounding the Ghanaian influencer. The case, officially listed as US v. Montrage, 22-CR-617 (Crotty), involves co-signers Hashimiyu Haruna, Fathia Chung, and Ayisheto Al Hassan.
