World Cup 2026Q: Black Stars players arrive in camp for Madagascar game

The Black Stars opened camp on Monday, November 13, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.

More than 20 players reported to the team’s camp on the first day with captain Andre Ayew leading the charge.

Chris Hughton named a 25-man squad squad for the two games last week Thursday with Ayew making a return to the team after missing out on the October international break.

Southampton forward Kamaldeen Sulemana and Rayo Vallecano defender Abdul Mumin have pulled out of the squad with Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Nurudeen Abdulai taking their places.

The team is expected to fly to Kumasi on Tuesday morning before training later in the day.
