Here’s a round-up of the latest Amapiano songs you need to hear this week.

DJ Fiifii ft. Yung D3mz – Never Let Go

UK based Ghanaian Disc jockey, DJ FiiFii  is gradually developing a name for himself as one of the finest in the Afrobeat djing space.

His success in entertaining at the bar have led to numerous large scale events in recent years, including the Miss West Africa UK pagent and Ghana independence day celebrations. He also features in regular club spots in and around London including the hugely popular clubs within the 02 arena in London, Water Margin, the Loft and the Inc club.

Known for his flair for Afrobeats, DJ FiiFii taps into the Amapiano frenzy with the help of Ghanaian singer-songwriter Yung D3mz churn out this feel-good tune titled ‘Never Let Go,’ engineered by UK based Ghanaian producer, DJ Kwamzy.



Niniola ft. Guiltybeatz – Dig Dig

Queen of Afro-house music, Niniola takes listeners on a trip from Nigeria to South Africa with the release of her latest extended play titled ‘Lagos to Jozi’.

Coming off the beautifully weaved project is this Amapiano themed song titled ‘Dig Dig’ featuring talented Ghanaian beatmaker and producer, Guiltybeatz.



Reekado Banks ft. Zlatan – Lupita Nyongo

Reekado Banks and Zlatan Ibile combine forces on this amapiano inspired track ‘Lupita Nyongo’, the third track on the project ‘Off The Record (Volume 2)’. Production credits to P. Prime.

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Reekado Banks releases the second installment of his ‘Off The Record’ musical project.

Hot on the heels of the amapiano-infused single “Ozumba Mbadiwe”, Reekado Banks serves up the second instalment of his Off the Record series which houses 5 solid tracks. Opener “Pulling Up” establishes the mood with its mellow grooves cocooning Banks’ balmy melodies. Applying an enlivened touch to Afrobeats rhythms, the singer shows off his tongue-in-cheek lyricism and sensuality on “Lupita Nyongo” and “Selection”.



Kabza De Small & DJ Maphorisa Ft. Ami Faku – Asibe Happy

Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa, collectively known as Scorpion Kings, recruit the services of singer Ami Faku  for their latest offering, “Asibe Happy”.

Prior to the release of Asibe Happy, the song was labelled ‘SONG OF THE YEAR’ by some music enthusiasts and critics. A video of Kabza De Small jamming to the song in the studio with Mhaw Keyz was circulating the internet just a few weeks ago, and fans could not wait for the release.

Kabelo, Maphorisa and Ami Faku are back now with this new entry titled “Asibe Happy”. Ami Faku acts as the featured artist on this one. This is a must listen.



MFR Souls ft. Aymos – uThando

Amapiano group MFR Souls have finally dropped their keenly awaited album dubbed ‘Healers Of The Soul’ after sharing series of teasers on their respective social media timelines.

“Healers of the Soul” is an ambitious phrase, but then the two friends matched the ambition of the title with the songs on the tracklist.

With 14 tracks, the project cannot possibly be said to be on the poor side of things. MFR Souls manages to weave a lot into this body of work, creating experiences the listener will relish and for a long time, too.

Artistes like Soa Mattrix, T-Man SA, Bassie, Spura, Khobzn Kiavalla, Obeey Amor, Sol T, K-More and Malumnator lent their hands as contributors on the project.

‘uThando’ is the seventh track on ‘Healers Of The Soul’ featuring Aymos.
