Yung Pabi ft. Fameye – Give Thanks

Exciting young artist, Yung Pabi, has followed up his “Banga” release earlier this year with a mood-lifting tune dubbed “Give Thanks” ft, which blends high life and hip hop to convey a message of gratitude.

The Guyest has always brought a drive for excellence to his collaborations due to his love for them and this one is no different. Give thanks features his Friend since high school and Praise hitmaker, Fameye, and is produced by six of plug and six fame.

The song conveys a message of thanks, built on the realistic outlook that dreams do no come through for all and the biggest wishes are not always played out. However, we all make progress, we all grow, and in every stage of growth and progress there is the need to recognize that progress, to celebrate it and most importantly to give thanks.

The groovy blend of high life and hip hop instruments are certain to immediately have you nodding your head and moving your body, even if you’re not prone to the boogey.

The listener is first met with the soothing voice of Fameye before Yung Pabi brings the edge with his first verse. By the time Fameye returns for the hook you will definitely be hooked and ready for Yung Pabi’s second dose of bars.

Fameye closes off the song with a verse of his own before the hook comes one last time to complete this amazing listening experience.

Tems ft. Brent Faiyaz – Found

The keenly anticipated ‘If Orange Was A Place’ by Nigerian singer-songwriter and producer, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems has finally been unveiled.

Prior to this release, Tems released the lead single of the extended play dubbed ‘Crazy Things’ a week ago and as well disclosing the vital information about her latest project ‘If Orange Was A Place‘ to her fans and listeners.

Maintaining her upward trajectory with recent accomplishments like being the first Nigerian artist on two songs on Billboard Hot 100 and overtaking Wizkid to become Spotify’s African artist with the highest number of  listeners after gathering a whopping eleven million monthly listeners, Tems carrys on with her journey to the very top of the music ladder.

The ‘If Orange Was A Place’ extended play houses 5 sublime records and features only American singer, Brent Faiyaz.

Additionally, prolific Ghanaian music producer, Guiltybeatz produced four songs out of the five, except track 3 which was produced by Jonah Christian. All tracks on the project were mixed and mastered by Spax.

Amaarae ft. Kali Uchis & Moliy – SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY (Remix)

Super talented Ghanaian diva, Amaarae dishes out the remix for her smash hit single, ‘SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY’.

The Ghanaian-American and the self-proclaimed “warrior princess” recruits similar baby-voiced Kali Uchis to add some extra vocals to the song.

The American singer, Kali comes through delivering a bilingual verse to match the aesthetic of the record.

Wavy the Creator – Stella Riddim ft. CKay & Efya

Nigerian Alte singer-songwriter, Wavy The Creator calls on award-winning Ghanaian singer, Efya and the man of the moment with world’s most Shazamed song, Ckay for the fourth track on her new extended play ‘P.S. Thank You For Waiting’.

After first developing her creative talents as a fashion designer, filmmaker and photographer (including serving as the official lens-master for hip-hop artist Olamide), Wavy (Jennifer Ejoke) turned her attention towards music, releasing singles like “H.I.G.H.”, “3” and “Body Deep”.

After a hiatus which saw her tackling personal issues and reimagining her musical identity, P.S. Thank You for Waiting gives her genre-bending alté sound a new, Afro-futuristic pop direction.

It feels familiar yet forward-thinking, whether she’s navigating unrequited love (“Time”) or lust at first sight (“Harmonies”), alongside collaborators like Tay Iwar, WurlD, CKay and Efya.

Bisa Kdei – Yard

Ghanaian native singer-songwriter and producer, Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah professionally known as Bisa Kdei in his latest single, showcases his unrivalled talent when it comes to making hit songs.

Acknowledged as one of Ghana’s most accomplished music artist, Bisa K’dei solely creates a playful fun-filled party anthem titled ‘Yard’.

As we approach the Christmas festive season, ‘Yard’ is definitely one song with the likeliness of gaining grounds during that period.

Tion Wayne ft. Davido & Jae5 – Who’s There

UK based Nigerian rapper, Tion Wayne finally shares his keenly awaited collaborative effort with Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Davido.

Prior to the release of this collaboration, Davido shared a snippet of the official video for this song which caught the attention of many.

The song is titled ‘Who’s True’ and it comes with a clean video that features a cameo appearance from Big Brother Naija star and Nigerian millionaire son, Kiddwaya.

Produced by the award-winning British-Ghanaian beatmaker Jae5, ‘Who’s True’ serves as the 15th track off Tion Wayne’s latest album ‘Green With Envy.’ The album features the likes of Polo G, Afro B, NSG, RAYE, Drilla and many others.

Ycee ft. Patoranking – Aunty Lovina

Nigerian singer-songwriter and rapper, Oludemilade Martin Alejo professionally known as YCee is back on the music radars with a new single.

Following his contribution on DJ Spinall’s Jabole tune alongside Oxlade, Ycee returns to the music scene after a short breather with a potential party anthem titled ‘Aunty Lovina’ which features vocals by Patoranking.

In the course of Ycee’s come-up in the year 2015, his collaboration with Patoranking with the song ‘Condo’ earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigerian Entertainment Awards.
