Rising Nigerian singer-songwriter, Dai Verse popular known for the song “Coc*ine,” is back with a new single that possesses so much commercial prospects.  This time, he’s aided by Buju, one of, if not the most prominent act of 2021.

As the title says, “Sweet Daddy” has the power to cling to one’s person and has so much replay value, creating a want to hear it again and again. Semzi Beatz is the one in charge of the production credit.

Reekado Banks ft. KiDi – Ozumba Mbadiwe (Remix)

Nigerian Afrobeat singer-songwriter, Reekado Banks is touring the continent with his buzzing Amapiano tune titled ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’

Exactly a week ago, the Reekado Banks dished out a perfect remix of what is currently one of the biggest songs on the African continent ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe’ and it featured Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Fireboy DML.

Succeeding this release, Reekado Banks links up with some of the most talented singers in the Afrobeat landscape to put together an Ozumba Mbadiwe remix EP.

Representing Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa and Cote D’Ivoire, Reekado Banks calls on Fireboy DML, Kidi, Rayvanny, Lady Du and Elow’n respectively to grace the extended play.

The 5 track-list studio project embodies diverse soundscapes alleviating the sound of the original.

Nigerian Afrobeat icon, Praiz commences his roll out for 2022 with a solo effort titled ‘Love You Better’.

Nasty C – Stalling

Stalling is a keys-based single that incorporates trap elements, hinged on a catchy hook and club-friendly bass.

Nasty C is “ALL IN” but his love interest seems to be Stalling. He opens the track with “You can just leave if you wanna leave, If you don’t wanna go the whole way there with me then goodbye”.

With the Icon’s 25th Birthday coming up, there’s no other way to celebrate being a quarter of a century than celebrating achievements. The Tall Racks frontman recently broke the record for the first South African to have an album (STRINGS & BLING) surpass 20 million streams on Spotify.

Ghanaian rapper and Asakaa poster boy, Jay Bahd maintains his upward trajectory with an exciting new single titled ‘Masherita’ featuring his label mates Skyface SDW, CHICOGOD and City Boy.

On the production fronts, credit goes to Ghanaian Stallion, produced behind Black Sherif’s Second Sermon freestyle.

Peruzzi – Ready ft. Aceberg

DMW signee, singer and one of Nigeria’s most prolific songwriters, Peruzzi makes his 2022 music debut on this instant hit called ‘READY’ featuring one of the brightest talents in the country in Aceberg TM.

As he gets ready to either forcefully or willingly collaborate with every artist he likes this year, we can tell you that he is working on a special project and this song is one lead to that piece.

This song has a reggaeton vibe that is a break from the norm, and it has every potential to smash records and stay at the top of the charts.

Jaywillz – Skin Tight

In 2021, Jaywillz released a mid-tempo anthem for lovers titled ‘Medicine’. The song which combines Igbo traditional music elements with contemporary sounds propelled Jaywillz to stardom. It was also the highlight track on Love or the Word, his follow-up to P.U.N., which was released in 2020. (Please Underrate Nobody).

Talented Nigerian serial hit maker Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema makes his headline account for the year 2022 with a potential banger titled ‘Calm Down’.

The Mavin/Jonzing World sensational act took to instagram earlier today to share a snippet of the song whiles driving in an open roof sports car in the streets of United States Of America. The teaser garnered enormous traction in his comment section, peaking the interest of his listeners and fans.

Furthermore, Rema announced his debut album will be dropping right after the release of this Semzi Beatz produced tune which sets the tone right for the highly anticipated studio project.

L.A.X. ft. Ayra Starr – Options

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, L.A.X connects with London-based Nigerian singer Ayra Starr for his first single of 2022 titled ‘Options’.
