Daddy was engineered by Chillz himself.

Twitch 4Eva – Moko

Twitch 4EVA has not been very active in the music scene this year but his spot as one of the best vocalists in Ghana music is cemented. The Ground Up Chale talent commences the year with a mellow and chilled tune titled ‘Moko’

Months went by with little or no word from Twitch 4EVA which had his fans startled, wanting to know his whereabouts. Twitch 4EVA breaks his silence with a beautifully crafted infectious tune titled ‘Moko’.

For an artiste Twitch 4EVA, you are sure of a banger. His discography says it all.

Fireboy DML – Playboy

Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer Adedamola Adefolahan, better known as Fireboy DML, has released a new song named “Playboy.”

The song ‘Playboy,’ is the lead single from his next album ‘Playboy,’ which is set to be released before the summer of this year.

The afro-fusion song was released on March 24th, 2022, and was produced by ace beatmaker Bizzouch.

Rema ft. Chris Brown – Time N Affection

‘Time N Affection’ is the sixth song housed under Rema’s debut album dubbed ‘Rave And Roses’ and it features award-winning American R&B/Pop singer Chris Brown.

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Rema celebrated his third year in the music industry yesterday and achieving milestones. It’s been an incredible journey for the young man thus far. Rema is eager to carry the sound to the world, “straight outta BC (Benin City),” as he stated in the album’s 12th track, ‘FYN,’ featuring West London’s AJ Tracey.

After years of eager anticipation, the Mavin-Jozing sensation has finally released his debut album, ‘Rave & Roses,’ a 16-track thriller that also marks his three-year anniversary in the music industry.

Rema works with Chris Brown on ‘Time N Affection,’ 6lack on ‘Hold Me,’ Yseult on ‘Wine,’ and AJ Tracey on the freshly released ‘FYN.’

Rema has classified his own style as Afrorave, a sub-genre of the acclaimed Afrobeats genre, in an industry where artists strive to distinguish their sound from others. Rema provides justification as to why we had to wait all this while for the album to drop and it’s established in the project.

Bad Boy Timz – One In Town

Some two weeks ago, Nigerian singer-songwriter Bad Boy Timz linked up with Ghanaian Asakaa rapper Yaw TOG for a collaboration titled ‘Azul‘ and has garnered enormous traction on radio and online.

Bad Boy Timz follows up with an exciting solo effort he titles ‘One In Town’ to keep up with his good form.

Tekno – JINJA

Tekno returns with another mellifluous tune titled Jinja, only weeks after making a comeback with the Willis-produced ‘Mufasa.’ After taking a hiatus in 2021, the multi-talented singer and record producer is currently on a new-music spree.

We’re in the first quarter of the year, and ‘Jinja’ is Tekno’s second release, indicating that the singer is back in full force in the music world. In addition, the song was accompanied by an enthralling music video that meet your standard.

Effyzzie Music ft. Yemi Alade – It’s Up To Us

Nigerian music label, Effyzzie Music teams up with its frontline act Yemi Alade for the second this year following the success of the former ‘Tell Somebody’ featuring Yaba Buluku Boyz.

This latest collaboration is entitled ‘It’s Up o Us’, a trademark Yemi Alade tune.

Larrylanes ft. Bella Shmurda – Jonzing

Larrylane, whose actual name is Adeyemi Olarenwaju, is one of the most talented fast-rising music acts in Nigeria’s thriving and competitive music ecosystem.

With producer credits on Bella Shmurda’s “Rush,” perhaps one of the biggest Nigerian street music released in 2021 helped propel his brand to mainstream fame. The 20-year-old record producer has collaborated with some of Nigeria’s biggest names in music, including Zlatan, Zinoleesky, and Reekado Banks.

The multifaceted music act Larrylane has put out his debut single entitled ‘Jonzing’ and it features Nigerian street hop artist Bella Shmurda.

‘Jonzing’ was produced by Larrylanes himself.

Koffee – Shine

On the Grammy-winning EP Rapture, Koffee—real name Mikayla Simpson—unveiled her creative blend of reggae, dancehall, and sculpted rap flows, the world bowed. Koffee became the youngest and first female winner of the Best Reggae Album award, which was also a historic accomplishment. The pandemic could have slowed her development, but she instead drew on Jamaica’s rich musical tradition (the spirit of Bob Marley can be heard on “x10,” while “Lonely” is a lovely homage to ’80s lovers rock) and the expertise of her live band to create a stunning, rich debut album.

Off the album ‘Gifted’, we singled out ‘Shine’, which is the third song housed under the tape. Speaking on this particular record with Apple Music, Koffee said;
“The first part of this song tells a story, a real ghetto story. ‘Sun’s rising, gun violence, police sirens’—that’s a regular day for the youths. This song speaks to them, especially with the Jamaican and Caribbean scene right now pushing this vibe of a senseless crime. These artists probably think it doesn’t affect anyone, and some don’t even care if it does. So, consider this song here a counter to that: if someone’s coming with that vibe, cool, I’ll come with this vibe and show you what’s good.”

DJ Justice ft. Larruso – Make Am

DJ Justice GH recruits the “New Gen” star to take a swipe at naysayers with success and we can feel the energy. But there’s more, Larruso’s dashing Dancehall tone nicely blends with the production on offer as his lyrics hit home.

‘Make Am’ is exactly about what its title implies – exceeding the expectations of naysayers with big success or as Larruso puts it to earn “millions and zillions”. The song also exudes an air of encouragement to listeners, and as such is a breeze to play through.

With his 2021 Justice Experience Festival a highlight of his recent form, ‘Make Am’ is probably one of the many gems he has coming our way.
