The ominous synths and arresting bassline of the introductory title track set the tone for an immersive offering, with DMC embodying his “King Kong Nyame” moniker through gritty cuts like “No Handshake” and “Agree”, the latter crafted alongside labelmates Reggie and O’Kenneth.

While the cross-continental link-up “Akatafo Party” features the UK’s Suspect OTB, Kwaku displays his versatility through heartfelt storytelling on “Faith”, the acoustic infusions of “Ohemaa” and the romantic lyrics of “Ode Yewu”.
