This Is How Much Toni Braxton Charged Burna Boy For Using Her Samples In ‘Last Last’
Following the sample of American R&B artist Toni Braxton’s song in his summer hit, Last Last, Nigerian megastar Burna Boy has disclosed the percentage of money that goes to her.
The singer revealed the information on the Million Dollar Worth of Game podcast with American media personalities Gillie Da King and Wallo Peeples, saying that Braxton receives a 60 percent cut of the song’s revenue because the instrumentals of Last Last sampled her song, He Wasn’t Man Enough.
Burna Boy made it known that he’d always intended to do something similar with the Braxton record and had actualized this with the Chopstix-produced Last Last, even if he had previously stated that he didn’t mind the violent split.
