The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Thursday embarked on a protest against the passage of the Electronic Transactions Levy (E-levy) introduced by the government.

The party was joined by some Civil Society Organisations and Ghanaians who are heavily against the levy.

The levy when passed will charge a 1.75% rate on all digital transactions including remittances.
