Zondatec opens Adako Jachie office

Automobile company, Zondatec Ghana Limited, has opened a new office at Adako Jachie, near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.

The company has therefore pledged to offer quality services to the business community in the region.

Zondatec Ghana Limited specialises in the sale and distribution of heavy and light duty vehicles.

Since its operation in 2010, the growth in the transport sector, construction, and mining has defined its focus.

It operates a combination of automated and manual vehicle assembling plant to harness the process of vehicle assembling.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Michael Okyere Baafi said government will continue to create an enabling environment for the private sector to boost the socio-economic fortunes of the Ghanaian people.

He pointed out that Zondatech has positioned itself to become the leading assembler and supplier of tracks.

Furthermore, it will assist artisans with technology transfer and capacity building so that they can assemble high quality trucks for both the domestic and international market.

Zondatec MD also said Kumasi is not only known as a mining zone but also as a manufacturing hub, noting “so our machineries and trucks can satisfy the needs of the mining and construction industry and the manufacturing areas”.

“We have the pickups and it will add to the life of the Kumasi people. So today it is so important for Zonda because It marks the milestone development of the Adako Jachie branch”, she added.

Chief of Adako Jachie, Nana Kwasi Bosompem III entreated the company to offer more employment opportunities to residents and indigenes of the area.

The Adako Jachie branch is expected to create direct employment for 45 people and indirect jobs for hundreds of people including indigenes.

We make this passionate appeal to consider the youth of Adako Jachie in employment or engaging workers for both skilled and unskilled”.
