Livestream: Business edition of PM Express discusses IMF Programme for Ghana

Government may consider going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a programme if the current homegrown programme fails to bring the needed economic stability and restore investor confidence.

According to the Deputy Minister of Finance, Dr John Kumah, an IMF programme will be pursued if needed.

Prior to this revelation by the Deputy Minister, the government had said that the Electronic Transaction Levy will generate internal revenue for the country to avoid the country from going to the IMF for support.

It appears that this may not happen from what Dr John Kumah had told Joy Business.

Tune in to the Joy News channel as the discussion about Ghana going for IMF Programme continues.
