Popular Ghanaian music producer, Eyoh Soundboy has been hospitalized and is currently on dialysis according to his wife.

The Wife of sound engineer Eyoh Soundboy, Aisha Yussif, disclosed on the Rainbow Entertainment show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm hosted by Summy Brown that her husband is in critical condition, but has not reached the point where he would need a kidney transplant as speculated.

She disclosed that her husband has been ill over the past five months and was treated for several conditions
including, malaria, typhoid, fever until he was recently diagnosed with kidney failure.

She also disclosed that someone recently called asking to donate his kidney to the sound engineer should he require a transplant.

Aisha Yussif stated that, the cost for his treatment has not been approved because it is not certain that he should get a transplant.

“He has been sick for the past five months, but we never knew it was a kidney problem until a month ago. We have been moving from one hospital to another, and yet, they could not detect it was a kidney failure until a month ago. He was treated for Malaria, typhoid and ulcer, but it was kidney failure. He is currently on admission at Ridge.”

According to Aisha, the family of the producer wanted to keep this private but some industry players including, comedian David Oscar have started a campaign to seek funds after they sought permission from the family.

Soundboy production hit include Rashid Metals ‘No Noise’, Flowking Stone’s ‘Waba Biom’ among others.
