Deadline for Domestic Debt Exchange Program expected to be expended

JOY NEWS is learning that the deadline for the domestic debt exchange program is likely to be extended.

Sources tell JOY NEWS the extension is being influenced by requests coming from institutions that agreed to sign up for the program.

Many of these institutions are yet to complete their internal administrative processes to formally sign up.

Sources also confirm the possibility of an enhanced offer for individual bondholders.

The original deadline expired at 4 pm today 31st January 2023.
